Job Title:

Technical Director

 

Work Hours:

Monday through Friday 7:00a.m to 5:00p.m. , or as needed

 

Primary Job Functions:

Develop, plan deliver and organize instructor-led certified technical training programs to meet the organization’s needs. Evaluate and assess all field associates regularly. Assess and develop certified safety programs for all field warehouse and office associates. Develop apprenticeship program within the organization. Team player who interacts effectively.

 

Reports To:

Operations Manager

 

Duties:

  1.  Provide technical support to field, sales and office associates
  2.  Provide technical support to customers
  3.  Develop and teach technical training programs for field associates
  4.  Regulary assess abilities of field associates in the field
  5.  Develop and maintain Level ability program for field associates (i.e.: Level 1,2,3...)
  6.  Create and develop apprenticeship program to attract new hires and train current staff
  7.  Develop and maintain certified safety programs for field and warehouse associates
  8.  Teach in classroom and field environments
  9.  Review service tickets daily for accuracy, quality and opportunity
  10.   Work closely with Operations and Department Managers in development of programs and assessment of staff
  11.   Improve field development's profitability through technical training
  12.   Teach and maintain organizational skills to all field associates in regards to paperwork and vehicle organization
  13.   Review and train from survey cards
  14.   Provide technical training during department meetings
  15.   Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
  16.   Motivate and Lead through technical knowledge
  17.   Assist in development of a commercial department
  18.   Assist in development of a maintenance department
  19.   Work with manufacturers for training and material necessary
  20. . Develop/Acquire training aids and material necessary

 

Performance Indicators:
 

Certain key business indicators that will measure the effectiveness of the Technical Director, these include the following:

  1.  Improve profits without compromising integrity
  2.  Reduction in % of callbacks
  3.  Leading associates through training and Levels
  4.  Achieve highest possible industry certifications
  5.  Accuracy and the quality of all field paperwork
