We had a minor incident following a service call; not only was the situation resolved- it was completed by the technician 2 hours after my call (on a Sunday night).Top notch work, fairly priced and very customer oriented.

I want to thank you for referring me to Casteel. I have to say these folks are by far the most competent residential A/C contractor that I have ever dealt with and I will never use anyone else again. From the beginning when Bob Casteel came to my home and evaluated the entire issue associated with the ductwork and infiltration issues to the execution by John Haynes and his team… all went flawlessly. The air flow on my second level is now perfect.
If you ever have a customer who has complicated HVAC issues and wants to make sure they hire the most competent contractor, I recommend Casteel and would be happy to express that on Trane’s behalf.

I have to say that I was a skeptic as first after reading all the reviews, but Terry lived up to the hipe. He provided the service that I expected and helpful tips for general maintenance. Thanks Casteel! When my A/C was clearly not getting the job done this summer I knew it was time for another service call. I have had mixed results in the past with HVAC service companies, and I decided I wanted to try someone new in hopes of finding a company I could count on to be consistent and reliable whenever I need them. My first experience with Casteel left me feeling good about my choice, and also left us feeling much cooler in the house now that the A/C is keeping up with the summer heat. Great Job! When my ac stopped cooling during this 90+ degree heat, I checked Kudzu to find a reputable company. I liked all of the positive reviews on Casteel and decided to give them a try. Great Work - Chris & Mike are excellent! We recently had 2 HVAC systems and duct work replaced in our home. Eric, the System Design Manager, was very knowledgeable, and figured out exactly what we needed and offered it at a competitive price. The installation was done by Chris and Mike, and they did an excellent job. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of their work! Casteel also arranged for insulation to be blown into our attic, and this was done through a sub-contractor. Too bad Casteel can't do everything. Date of Posting: 15 August 2011

The Best -- No Kidding Our old A/C (builders' special) was leaking Freon and our electric bills were over $500 this summer. Even though the house is only 8 years old, we had uneven temperature problems from the beginning. It seems the installation was "builders' special" also. Eric did a spectacular job of determining the system we needed and Ben & Michael removed the old and installed the new very efficiently. They got it done in one day so we would not have to go overnight without A/C. For the first time since we moved in we now have even temperatures in all the rooms! Words can't say how happy we are! The new thermostat works wirelessly on the Internet and helps us monitor how efficiently our new system is working--you'd be surprised at how much difference changing the setting even 1 degree can make. We are now able to very comfortably run our A/C in 2 zones at 1 degree higher and 2 degrees higher in zone 3. We've used Casteel for 7 years to maintain our system and they are the most conscientious home service company we have ever dealt with. Most of the same technicians are still there, too, and low employee turnover speaks volumes. Date of Posting: 12 August 2011
