How to Survive Allergy Season!
It’s that time of year again…allergy season! The pollen is in full bloom and determined to ruin your beautiful spring days! Try following these tips from health.com to help you survive allergy season. If ya’ll are like me, you’ve already had enough!
Decongestant: Let your decongestant be your best friend! Consider using an antihistamine with an added decongestant-look for a “D” or the word “sinus” in the name, it usually means decongestant. This should help clear up that congested nose of yours.
Dehumidifiers: I can’t think of a better time to invest in a dehumidifier. This will take that “stuffy” feeling out of the air when you sleep at night. You can breathe easier with a dehumidifier. During the spring months there can be excessive moisture in the air which can create an excellent breeding ground for mold and mildew. If you have one already, I suggest you turn it on ya’ll!
Pollen Time: Try not to go outside when the pollen is in full bloom. To avoid exposure to pollen-produced by trees, grass, weeds, and flowers, try not to go outside during peak allergy hours generally noon through late afternoon. I don’t expect ya’ll to stay inside all day, so make sure you have you antihistamine available!
